Week Four

This is the beginning of our second sprint! We're excited to get started on the next chapter on our game's journey. This sprint we will continue what we started last time, and we'll also get to those pesky backburnered tasks that didn't make the cut last time.





What's Everyone Doing?

This Sprint continues our new asset creation as well as our fixing of old assets. We've fixed our shingles to better line up with one another. We also touched up our trees and created much more variation with textures and different tree shapes. These will be very helpful in creating a more interesting and dynamic environment.With tech we've created a new way to place our objects into the world! We now have the option to randomize our trees, pillars, and so on, so that we are able to create for variety quickly.



Also:

With regards to our media and our press kit, we've started making our first pass of our cinematic trailer (animatic to the left).




What did we do?

  1. Created Randomizers for Pillars and Trees

  2. Began our Cinematic Trailer

  3. Created Shingles, Trees, and Particles

  4. Began to fix Geometry Issues with our Character

  5. Started to Update Animations to Accommodate for Tech Changes
