Description

Heaven's Shore is a Third Person Hack and Slash Game based in the afterlife. After being damned for his sins on earth, Captain Bart "Lionheart" Bailey is out for revenge. Making a deal with a spirit, he is transformed from a damned soul to a powerful demon, and sets sail for heaven to enact his revenge. Be the Bad Guy, Steal the Treasure, Pillage Heaven.

History

A group of students tossed together into a group project bore Heaven's Shore. The game was composed of multiple concepts that were pitched by the group and blossomed into the game you see before you after only six months of working together.

In Heaven's Shore you play as Captain Bart "Lion-Heart" Bailey, the former captain of the Hangman's Wallows. After being sent to hell for your deeds on Earth, Bailey looks to avenge his early death by pillaging Heaven for it's most sacred treasure, the prized gem at the summit.

Once reaching Heaven however, all is not well. The angels of the Skyland are not about to let Bailey corrupt their home without putting up a fight. Swarming the pirate, the battle begins...

We've built a large and reactive environment for our players. With our destructible system the player is able to interact and destroy a ton of different items within the game.
As you play, you will be greeted with hoards of angels, but along with slashing them, you can also slash boxes, crates, barrels, and much more!

In Heaven's Shore, you are the bad guy. You take advantage of your punishment to bring pain and suffering to the residents of the Skyland, and as you destroy the angels, you're also destroying the Skyland itself.
It's good to be bad.
