Week Three is the Beginning of the End of Our First Sprint, Here's How it Went...

What We Did:
This week was based on creation. We created many new assets as well as fixed old ones. One thing to note is that we also experienced the least amount of crunch this sprint out of all of our time working on Heaven's Shore, so good job SCRUM Master Donovan! We had four new particles made, a massive gondola to populate our water, and got some fancy new shields textured to decorate it. We have to go back and touch up a few things, and we did have to back burner some tasks due to an unforeseen problem with our character mesh, but we'll talk about that next. We also created a storyboard for our first trailer, the cinematic trailer.
What We're Doing Next:
We are moving forward with asset creation and revamping. Beginning with our character. When texturing him the first time, we noticed an issue with clipping and we could not for the life of us figure out why. Turns out, we had some internal geometry that was missed during creation. No big deal, we just have to backtrack a little bit. This sprint coming up we will work to fix those issues and then begin the process of baking and texturing once again. A minor setback but nothing we can't handle. We will continue to work through our asset list to populate our environment and make it more interesting, and we will be revisiting our Destructible System as well. This next sprint is going to be a lot of tech hours, but it's nothing our programmers aren't ready to tackle.
