We started out as a group of strangers doing a group project, this is how that went.

What We Did Wrong
Our group started a bit dysfunctional... it was a new experience for most of us, we all had different backgrounds, and none of us knew each other. We had different ideas about what this class was going to be and just how intense. Some of us pulled more weight than others, and our communication was way off. We had 10 weeks together though, so some of those initial hiccups went away, and after those 10 weeks, some of the group went away.
What We Did Right
Most of us had never worked on a game this scale before. That being said the group really pulled together through deadlines, critiques, and plenty of late nights. With many games taking years to make, we had 10 weeks. Despite that severe handicap, we pulled out a pretty enjoyable game. Bug free? Absolutely not. Perfect cohesion? Ha! But we had a playable game, and it looked pretty damn good. We knew we weren't done, but it was a great start.
